Privacy Policy
Short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser and never send your numbers anywhere. We collect only what you choose to send us, plus standard analytics.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful. It records things like pages viewed, device type, approximate location and how you found us.
- Server logs: our web server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.
What we don't collect
The IDR Payment Estimator, PSLF Timeline Calculator and Consolidation Decision Tool run in your browser. Your income, balance, family size and answers are never stored or sent to us. We never ask for your FSA ID or Social Security number.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. If you click an affiliate link and sign up with a partner, that partner or its network may set a cookie to credit us for the referral. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Third parties
- Google Analytics: site usage statistics.
- Google (Apps Script and Sheets): stores contact form messages.
- Google Fonts: serves the site's fonts.
- Affiliate networks (such as Awin): track referrals. See our affiliate disclosure.
We don't sell your personal information.
Your choices
To ask us to delete a message you sent, use the contact form. This site isn't intended for children under 13.
